Managed Desktop Services

Vectra provide managed desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and can tailor our application services to meet our customer's business requirements, as well as managing SOEs to meet individual business unit needs. Vectra Managed Desktop Services can be packaged with Vectra Managed Administration services for servers and host applications for single source support for directory and services/access/deployment. They can also be extended to include provision of managed network infrastructure into a "per user/per month" cost structure. Managed desktops can be delivered as networked PCs and/or thin clients to server farms. Vectra offers contract periods of three years or beyond, depending on business needs, which includes a technical refresh of desktop equipment scheduled to occur at or between two and three years, or between three and four years depending upon our customer's requirements. Vectra Managed Desktop services also enables our customers to take advantage of a network equipment replacement or upgrade at scheduled intervals to meet performance improvement requirements. 

Vectra can also provide a Standard Operating Environment Review to assess the potential areas of software and infrastructure technical risk evident in your deployed or proposed SOE.

Vectra Resources

Vectra provides numerous resources to assist with the management of our customer's SOE requirements, including:

  • Help Desk Service (Level 1 and Level 2)
  • Rollout / replacement of desktops
  • Configuration of business applications and desktop services in accordance with best practice deployment model
  • End user support for PC operations and applications access
  • Tracking and reporting of corporate information assets 

Value Proposition

Vectra offers "Service" based pricing for provision of IT infrastructure and maintain a simple and cost effective "pay for use" model for the deployment of network applications and desktops. This gives our customers access to cost effective deployment resources, rather than wasting internal IT support staff expertise on repetitive rollout configuration activity.
